SNOW STORM UPDATE:
NO RACE!
THE PARKS DEPARTMENT HAS CLOSED ALL CITY PARKS DUE TO FALLEN TREES AND UNKNOWN CONDITIONS OF WEAK TREE LIMBS.
THE TRAILS ARE IMPASSIBLE!
THE HALLOWEEN MARATHON IS CANCELED
NOTE that for Halloween we will be using alternative run course approved by the NYC Parks Dept. because there is a conflict with other runs on the cross country trails. This alternative course will primarily use the Old Croton Aqueduct and Putnam Trails. The loop/course is 3.275 miles long and starts/finishes very close to the Van Cortlandt House Museum. Please see map below for details.
This is a free, fee-less event. There are no cut off times or qualifications.
Just show up and run!

The Halloween Marathon course is the only trail marathon inside New York City!
The course is challenging, beautiful and scenic, a true adventure! The 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon will be run on scenic loops through the beautiful Van Cortlandt Park.
